The eagerly anticipated GATE 2024 correction window, originally slated to open on November 7 and conclude on November 11, has been postponed due to undisclosed operational issues. As a result, aspirants eagerly awaiting the opportunity to amend their application details have been left in limbo, uncertain about when they can make the necessary modifications.
In response to the growing concerns of applicants, the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, the organizing body behind GATE 2024, issued a statement clarifying the delay and assuring candidates that they will be promptly informed about the revised schedule through email and various social media platforms.
"We are yet to open the window for modifying your application. The delay is due to some operational aspects. Kindly stay tuned. We will announce the dates via social media as well as by email to all registered candidates," a representative of IISc Bangalore declared through the official GATE 2024 page on X (formerly known as Twitter).
While the precise nature of the operational challenges remains undisclosed, the delay has left candidates in a state of suspense, eagerly awaiting the opening of the correction window to ensure their application details are accurate and up-to-date. As the situation unfolds, hopeful participants are advised to remain vigilant for any further updates from the organizing committee.
